Reem Abbas is a feminist activist, writer and researcher. She is the co-author of the book “(Un)Doing Resistance: Authoritarianism and Attacks on the Arts in Sudan’s 30 Years of Islamist Rule”. She was an an inaugural Sudan Democracy Action Researcher at the AMEL Institute, is a former Nonresident Fellow at the Tahrir Institute for Middle East Policy (TIMEP) focusing on land, conflict, and resources in Sudan.
